`Dores place 3 on Coaches' Team

The Commodores’ Festus Ezeli, John Jenkins, and Jeffery Taylor were named to the men’s basketball coaches All-SEC Preseason first team in an announcement made by the SEC on Wednesday. Vanderbilt was the only team with three players on the first team.

The coaches’ honors go along with media recognition the three received during SEC Media Days on October 27. Jenkins and Taylor made the media’s first team, while Ezeli was named to the second team.

Thirty-two different players received votes for the teams and nine different schools are represented on the preseason squads.

The coaches preseason All-SEC first and second teams consist of a minimum of eight players on each squad, voted on by the SEC Head Men’s Basketball Coaches. No ties were broken and no predicted order of finish was made.
