- Vanderbilt men’s basketball returns to action following a 10-day break for finals as the Commodores take on Texas Tech in the US LBM Coast-to-Coast Challenge on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
- Four members of the Vanderbilt roster will return to their home state of Texas: Colin Smith (Dallas), Coleson Messer (Dallas), Malik Presley (San Marcos) and Jordan Williams (Houston).
- Vanderbilt and Texas Tech meet for the ninth time Saturday, but the first in 44 years. The Dores and Red Raiders last dueled in 1979 with Vanderbilt holding a 6-2 edge in the all-time series.
- Point guard Ezra Manjon extended his double-figures scoring streak to 14 consecutive games last time out. He’s now reached double digits 84 times in his career, third most among active SEC players.
