• Conference action continues Friday when Vanderbilt volleyball hosts Georgia for a 7 p.m. first serve
• Vanderbilt welcomes South Carolina on Sunday to close out a four-match home stand with first serve set for 1 p.m.

WEEKEND PROMOTIONS
• Friday from 6-7 p.m. is Happy Hour at Memorial. Fans can enjoy $7 Coors Light and White Claws and $3 hot dogs and popcorn from the time doors open at 6 p.m. until the beginning of the first set
• Celebrate Halloween at Memorial on Sunday. Fans are invited to wear their costumes to Memorial and visit the practice gym for kids’ zone and trick-or-treating before the match
• The team will sign post-match autographs on Sunday. Access to the court will be made available by using the stairs located in Section G near the band

• Vanderbilt volleyball setter Isabella Bareford eclipsed the 4,000 career assist mark on Sunday with 46 vs. Ole Miss
• The Commodores posted 10-plus blocks for the second straight match
• Vanderbilt dropped its second consecutive five-set match to Ole Miss (19-25, 25-15, 28-26, 19-25, 15-11)
• Reese Animashaun led Vanderbilt in kills with 15 and also tallied 12 digs, recording her fourth double-double of the season
• Mia Soerensen posted a season-high 12 kills and added four blocks to her stat line
• Making her first collegiate start, freshman Maya Witherspoon amassed eight kills, 12 digs, five blocks and a pair of service aces
• Vanderbilt’s defensive efforts were paced by Jackie Moore, who recorded a season-high eight blocks, and Elli Kinney, who tallied 18 digs, matching her career high. Moore also contributed 10 kills for Vandy

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Georgia is on a five-match winning streak, most recently defeating Mississippi State in five sets at home
• Earlier this season, the Dawgs earned a five-set win at then-No. 23 Georgia Tech
• Georgia leads the SEC in blocks per set, averaging 3.12, and is ranked second nationally
• Two Bulldogs, Kendal Kemp (2nd) and Tori Harper (7th), are ranked top 10 in the SEC in blocks per set with respective averages of 1.62 and 1.27 blocks per set
• Kemp is also currently ranked sixth in the NCAA in blocks per set
• Kemp, with 15 vs. Alabama, and Harper, with 11 at Arkansas have the No. 2 and 3 blocking performances by SEC players this season
• Kemp was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week for back-to-back weeks in wins at Arkansas and Oklahoma and 21 blocks in Bulldog victories over Mississippi State and Alabama
• In nine seasons at Georgia, head coach Tom Black has led the Dawgs to three NCAA Tournament berths

SCOUTING THE GAMECOCKS 
• South Carolina travels to Missouri on Friday before facing Vanderbilt on Sunday
• In conference matches, libero Victoria Harris is ranked third in the SEC in digs, averaging four per set
• Emily Beeker leads the Gamecocks in blocks, averaging 1.21 per set in conference matches this season. She’s ranked No. 9 in the SEC in the stat category
• Ava Leahy is ranked eighth in the SEC with a .347 hitting efficiency in conference play
• Sarah Rumley Noble is in her first season as head coach of the Gamecocks, having spent the past three seasons as the head coach at Appalachian State
• In Noble’s inaugural season, 12 new players joined the Gamecocks roster
• Harris had a standout freshman season in 2024, leading the team with 396, averaging 4.04 per set, which was ranked sixth in the SEC and 14th among NCAA Division I freshmen

COMMON(WEALTH) CONNECTIONS
• Noble was a four-time All-SEC setter and two-time AVCA All-American playing for head coach Craig Skinner at Kentucky
• Vanderbilt head coach Anders Nelson was an assistant coach and later associate head coach on Skinner’s staff for 11 seasons from 2013-22
• Vanderbilt assistant coach Azhani Tealer was also coached by Skinner at Kentucky where she was a two-time All-America, three-time all-region and four-time All-SEC selection
