Domaguin Makes Final Four All-Tournament Team

Freshman Avery Domagiun averaged 238 in traditional games at the NCAA Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt bowling’s Avery Domaguin was honored as a member of the National Collegiate Bowling Championship all-tournament team, which was announced at Saturday night’s final match.

The No. 2 seeded Commodores finished in third place at the NCAA Championship last week in Parma Heights, Ohio. The team’s success was largely aided by Domaguin’s consistent high-scoring performance at the event. Bowling 71 frames for Vandy, the freshman averaged 23.28 in scoring and struck 67.5 percent of the time. In the Dores’ three traditional games, Domaguin compiled scores of 202, 252 and 260 for an average of 238 pins per game.
