The Southeastern Conference announced on Sunday that Texas A&M University was added to the league, effective July 1, 2012.
Vanderbilt Vice Chancellor David Williams commented on the news of Texas A&M joining the league.
“Those of us at Vanderbilt University are happy and excited about Texas A&M coming to the Southeastern Conference. We look forward to many years of competition and friendship with Aggie Nation.”
