Today’s spotlight: Kendall Shaw
Vanderbilt redshirt sophomore Kendall Shaw is today’s featured player on our Countdown to Tipoff package that will lead up to the Commodores’ season opener against Belmont on Nov. 14.
Shaw, who missed last season with a knee injury, has returned to action this season and gives the Commodores a potentially-dominating presence in the paint.
Shaw played in 23 games during her freshman season, averaging 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds. She played her best basketball in the NCAA Tournament, scoring five points in the first round win over Saint Joseph’s and posting a career-high 12 points in second round loss to Connecticut.
