Concolino was chosen on a 12-woman “Mid-Season All-America” team and the publication also tabbed her as the “best player you’ll hear of by season’s end” in expectation of another outstanding spring. The long-hitting sophomore from Orlando is ranked third nationally after three Top 10 finishes in four medal events.

Richards was named the mid-year “Coach of the Year” after guiding her team to a pair of medal play tournament championships — at the Lady Tar Heel Invitational and the Stanford Women’s Intercollegiate — and a second place finish at the Collegiate Match Play Championships. Vanderbilt has jumped into a fourth place national ranking as a result.

The Commodores begin the spring season at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational, Feb. 26-27.
