HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — Vanderbilt women’s golf finished the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in 10th place. The Commodores carded an 11-over final round to finish the event.

“I thought we got off to a good start but definitely lost some momentum midway through the round,” said head coach Greg Allen.

Ava Merrill, tied for 33rd individually, finished the final round at 1-under par. Lynn Lim shot a 74 in the final round and also tied for 33rd. Angelina Tolentino had a final-round 75 and Tillie Claggett a 76.

Competing as an individual, Sara Im carded a 77 on Wednesday to claim 25th individually. Elizabeth Rudisill added an 85 on Wednesday.

“We’ve definitely got some things to figure out before we play again, but I’m confident we can get back on track,” said Allen. “We’ve got great young ladies that are willing to put in the time and effort.”

Vanderbilt returns to the course at the Clemson Invitational on March 27-29.
