On campus in Nashville — Minta Spears has been sidelined for much of the 2016 basketball season, but Vanderbilt’s redshirt senior guard has made the most of it. The Bullard, Texas native and former Texas Tech Red Raider has remained a positive influence on the sideline as she rehabs a knee injury. That impact has helped the Commodores start the season 9-1 under new head coach Stephanie White.
