Commodore Athletics Adds Partner

Vanderbilt combining with Alluvium Strategies to maximize NIL landscape

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt Athletics announced its partnership with Alluvium Strategies, a Nashville-based boutique sports marketing consulting group led by Megan Curry. This team of industry professionals provides department leaders with resources to maximize their position in the evolving landscape across name, image and likeness (NIL).

Alluvium Strategies provides a strategic lens to the director of athletics, coaches, and staff as they navigate the developing business of sport and NIL. Additionally, they provide best practices for the Commodores as they market their programs and facility projects and help their student-athletes navigate the transition from the playing field to their profession.

“In changing times for college athletics, Vanderbilt remains committed to a holistic experience that helps our student-athletes reach their full potential,” said Vanderbilt vice chancellor for athletics and academic affairs and athletic director Candice Storey Lee. “In addition to being a Nashville neighbor, Alluvium Strategies is an emerging thought leader in the field of name, image and likeness. We look forward to collaborating with them on new opportunities to innovate and compete in this important space.”

“Alluvium Strategies was built to support leaders, and the Commodores produce academic, athletic, and professional leaders every day,” said Alluvium founder Megan Curry. “We are thrilled to work alongside the department to support and amplify the ‘Vandy Way’ of sustainable thought leadership, careful assessment, and creative marketing strategies to propel the department forward in the NIL space.”
