Justin Wenzel
Assistant Director • Athletic Training Services (Rehabilitation Coordinator)
Justin Wenzel joined the Vanderbilt sports medicine staff in 2005. He currently serves as the assistant director for athletic training services and rehabilitation coordinator. He has also provided coverage for football, track and field, and women’s tennis during his time at Vanderbilt.
Wenzel came to the Commodores following two years at Furman where he served as the athletic trainer for men’s soccer and baseball.
Wenzel received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State followed by a graduate degree from Furman.
A native of Mendon, Michigan, Wenzel is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and College Athletic Trainers Society. His clinical interests include functional rehabilitation and concussion. He holds a certification in Blood Flow Restriction Training.
Justin resides in Nashville with his wife, Alison, and children, Calla and Casey.
