New Vanderbilt Head Coach Robbie Caldwell is offering Commodore fans two opportunities to watch the preseason progress of his squad.
Commodore practices scheduled for Sunday and Monday, Aug. 8-9, will be open to Vanderbilt fans, Caldwell announced Monday while addressing to the Nashville Rotary Club.
The first Vanderbilt preseason camp with Caldwell in charge will start Friday, Aug. 6. The team also will stage a practice on Saturday, Aug. 7, before the first public session is staged the following day Sunday.
Caldwell says he looks forward to having Commodore fans see the early progress of his squad.
“I expect a lot of our followers to come out and see how we are looking,” Caldwell said. “I hope all of our fans are just as excited about getting started with the preseason as I am.”
The Sunday practice is expected to start at 4:15 p.m., at the John Rich Practice Facility. The Commodores will start the Monday session at 6 p.m.
Fans planning to attend either session are urged to use the practice facility entrance off Natchez Trace.
