NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt bowling’s fall season continues when the Commodores travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to compete at the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Louisiana Tech.
The last time out
The Commodores, ranked third in the NTCA preseason poll, are coming off a third-place finish at Destination Orlando two weeks ago. Vanderbilt earned the 4-seed heading into bracket play after defeating No. 6 Arkansas State, 1,019-869. The Dores faced top-seeded Jacksonville State in the semifinal and took the Gamecocks to seven games but ultimately came up short of qualifying for the event final. Vanderbilt defeated ninth-ranked Louisiana Tech 4-1 in the consolation match to claim a third-place finish.
For the second weekend in a row, freshman Katelyn Abigania registered a top 10 individual finish. She earned a spot on the Destination Orlando All-Tournament Team and the Conference USA Performers of the Month Team for her accomplishments in October.
