Vanderbilt heads to Reading, Pa., for the Kutztown Invitational, to be played Friday through Sunday at the New Hiester Lanes.
Friday’s six, 5-game Baker matches begin at 9:30 CST (10:30 EST). The six team games Saturday begin at 8:30 Central and Sunday’s bracket starts at 7:50 Central.
Competing teams include Adelphi, Bethune Cookman, Central Missouri, Coppin State, Delaware State, Fairleigh Dickinson, Franklin Pierce, Hampton, Howard, Kutztown, Long Island, UMES, McKendree, Medaille, Monmouth, Morgan State, North Carolina A&T, Norfolk State, Pitt-Bradford, Penn State-Altoona, Sacred Heart, Saint Francis (NY), Saint Francis (PA), Stephen F. Austin, Tulane, Valparaiso, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Vanderbilt will travel eight with Olivia Wirtz’s fine performance last week in Arkansas earning her a berth along with Tori Ferris, Robyn Renslow, Nicole Powell, Giselle Poss, Katie Stark, Kristin Quah and Jordan Newham. Amanda Fry has a minor wrist issue that will keep her home.
Vandy carries a 48-20 mark into the tournament and continues to be one of the NCAA’s most consistent teams, making the championship bracket in each of the five events it has competed in this season.
The Commodores will livestream the games as the house wifi system will allow on its Cube site, along with Twitter updates.
