Bowlers 3rd, Keily 1st After Day Two

WHITEWATER, WI—Vanderbilt’s Mandy Keily shot to the top of the individual standings Saturday at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational while the Commodore team finds itself in third place behind Farleigh Dickinson and Nebraska. Vanderbilt won two matches and lost two with one bye game on the day.

Keily had games of 231, 204, 218, 218 and 234 and now averages 207 after nine games at this tournament. Cassie Leuthold of Nebraska is second at 205.4. Vanderbilt’s Michelle Peloquin is sixth at 197 while Karen Grygiel and Tara Kane are 12th and 13th at 187 averages.

“Tomorrow’s matches are going to be interesting,” said Coach John Williamson. “For the most part today I thought we bowled well. Mandy had a tremendous day to lead us.”
