Vanderbilt is ranked 12th in the latest poll of collegiate bowling coaches.
The National Ten Pin Coaches Association’s December release reflects the struggle that Vanderbilt had during the fall. The Commodores, with just one bowler having more than one year of collegiate experience, were not successful in handling the nation’s strongest schedule. The 12th place poll rank is the program’s lowest since the initial season in 2005 when Vanderbilt converted its club team to varsity.
The Commodores return to action January 20 at Nebraska’s Big Red Invitational.
