The annual Black & Gold Spring Game for Vanderbilt football will be held at 1 p.m. CT Saturday in Vanderbilt Stadium and will be a part of a jam-packed weekend of home events for Vanderbilt’s athletic teams. In addition to the intrasquad matchup of Head Coach James Franklin’s troops, the Vanderbilt baseball team will play new SEC opponent Missouri at 4 p.m. that same day with the baseball game being broadcast on ESPNU. The Commodores and Tigers will also square off at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Also taking place that weekend on campus will be home women’s tennis matches against South Carolina Friday and Florida Sunday. The lacrosse team will also host Florida at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission to the Black & Gold Spring Game is free. A special Black & Gold Spring Game poster featuring the 2013 schedule, which includes home games against Ole Miss on Thursday, Aug. 29, Austin Peay on Sept. 7, UAB on Sept. 28, Missouri on Oct. 5, Georgia on Oct. 19, Kentucky on Nov. 16 and Wake Forest on Nov. 30, will also be available at the gate (while supplies last).

Soles4Souls Donations
Commodore fans are encouraged to bring gently used shoes and clothing that will be collected and distributed by Soles4Souls. Those who donate items will be entered in a raffle to win:
– Two (2) tickets to the Vanderbilt vs. UT football game along with a hotel stay in Knoxville, or
– A chance to call the first play of the second half of the Black & Gold Spring Game
NCC Tailgate
The National Commodore Club is hosting a tailgate from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13. The tailgate is open to all National Commodore Club members and the general public. It will be located between Gate 2 and Star Walk.
Cost: $15 per person / $10 for kids 6-12 / Free for Jr. NCC members & kids 5 and under

Select Your Football Seats
The NCC will host a select-a-seat event for priority football seats on April 12 from 4-7 p.m. and April 13 from 9-11:30 a.m. We invite you to come to Vanderbilt Stadium to view the open seats in NCC sections. Free parking will be available in the Medical Center lots along Natchez Trace. Please enter the stadium through Gate 2, and NCC staff members will be on-site to assist you. All open seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
CSS To Televise Game
Vanderbilt’s Black & Gold Spring Game will be televised on taped delay by Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). The game will first air at 7 p.m. CT on April 13. At 6:30 p.m. on April 24, CSS will air a version of the spring game with coach/student-athlete interviews.
Additionally, the game will be available on ESPN3.com, beginning at 10 p.m. on April 13.
