NASHVILLE, Tenn. — As Vandy United continues to sculpt the future of Vanderbilt athletics, there are several updates for fans planning to attend men’s and women’s basketball games this season at Memorial Gym.
The Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball teams open the season on Nov. 4, when the women host Lipscomb at 11 a.m. and the men welcome Maryland Eastern Shore in a 7 p.m. tip.
Entry into Memorial Gymnasium
This season, fans will be able to enter Memorial Gymnasium through gates 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 11. Students will enter through gate 4 while gate 11 will be the ADA accessible entrance this season.
Paths to and from the 25th Avenue Garage and Memorial Gymnasium could look different from game to game. Please follow signage and allow ample time to reach your gate.
The clear bag policy remains in effect for all home athletic competitions.
ADA Accessibility
With lot 71 closed, ADA parking is available in the 25th Ave. Garage. The path to access gate 11 is also different this season with ongoing construction. To begin the season, ADA patrons coming from 25th Ave. Garage should proceed to the right field foul pole of Hawkins Field, walking through Lot 71 and entering through gate 11. Fans coming from Kensington Garage or West End should follow the pathways towards The Wond’ry, crossing over 25th Avenue by the right field foul pole of Hawkins Field.
Please be aware this path will change as construction efforts continue. Fans are encouraged to check vucommodores.com for pathway updates prior to each game.
Parking
Fans may purchase single-game parking passes for men’s basketball in the 25th Ave. Garage. Women’s basketball offers free parking in the 25th Ave. Garage. Men’s basketball pricing for nonconference games is $10 in advance and $20 at drive-up. For SEC games, pricing is $20 in advance and $30 for drive-up. Fans parking in the 25th Ave. Garage should enter campus from Blakemore/31st Ave. and turn into the garage from either 24th Ave. S or Highland Ave.
For any fans holding Kensington Garage parking passes, the garage is only accessible from 25th Ave. off West End.
Concessions
A mix of new offerings and fan favorites are set to feature at concession stands throughout Memorial Gymnasium this season. New in 2024-25 is Five Points Pizza in the north and south lobbies. Fans can also enjoy the new co-crafted Conquer and Prevail Pale Ale from Jackalope Brewing along with Von Elrod’s Neighborhood Pilsner and Fog Horn IPA.
Daddy’s Dogs returns to concessions at men’s basketball games while refillable Pepsi soft drinks are back for all contests.
Pepsi Four-Packs
Pepsi Four-Packs return and now include a $10 concession voucher per ticket that can be used on Pepsi products and food offerings (excluding alcohol) at Memorial Gymnasium. For men’s games, Pepsi Four-Packs include four tickets and four $10 concession vouchers. For women’s games they start at just $30, and $60 for men’s games.

Kids’ Zone at Basketball
Young Commodore fans can enjoy a kids’ zone at select games this year. Inflatables, face painting, balloon animals and more are available at the below dates. Dates for SEC games will be shared as games near.

Construction Around Memorial Gymnasium
As construction progress throughout the season, fans are encouraged to check back their Know Before You Go emails prior to each game for the latest information. Construction will continue to impact road closures and pedestrian access on campus. Vehicular and pedestrian pathway maps are available on vucommodores.com/construction.
- A section of Natchez Trace remains closed to vehicular traffic between Kensington Place and Jess Neely Drive. There is pedestrian access via sidewalk, however, fans must cross in front of 2525 West End to reach Memorial Gymnasium.
- Jess Neely drive is closed to vehicular traffic.
- 26th Ave. and Kensington Place are inaccessible from Natchez Trace to both vehicles and pedestrians.
Fans should consult maps and keep an eye out for posted signage as they navigate the area surrounding Memorial Gymnasium.
