Vanderbilt’s baseball and men’s tennis teams will be in action at home in the final weekend of March, while the women’s golf, lacrosse, women’s tennis and track teams will compete away from Nashville.
The baseball team hosts Tennessee for a three-game set, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The Commodores will play the Vols at 6 p.m. Saturday and again at 1 p.m. Sunday.
There are a number of promotions this weekend that fans will want to take advantage of. On Friday, the first 1,000 fans will receive Vanderbilt baseball wristbands. After the game, kids will be allowed to play catch on the field.
Saturday’s game will air on CSS and the first 200 fans will receive a t-shirt jersey of Pedro Alvarez.
Sunday, Vanderbilt will have an Easter egg hunt after the game.
The 14th-ranked men’s tennis team will host No. 32 Auburn and No. 31 Alabama this weekend. The Commodores and Tigers will play at 2 p.m. Friday and Vanderbilt hosts Alabama at noon Sunday.
Admission is free to both matches at the Currey Tennis Center.
Away from Vanderbilt’s campus, the women’s tennis team will play at Auburn and Alabama Friday and Sunday, respectively.
Vanderbilt’s women’s golf team is playing in the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C., while the women’s track team is competing at Georgia Tech Saturday. Lastly, the lacrosse team will play at Johns Hopkins at noon Saturday.
