- The Wildcats are currently on a three-game losing streak after falling to Vanderbilt, LSU, Texas A&M and South Carolina. Kentucky will travel to face Alabama prior to the Commodores’ visit to Lexington.
- The Wildcats began the season ranked but after a few losses, dropped to receiving votes prior to falling out of the Top 25.
- Senior guard Rhyne Howard has had a stellar season so far and scored her 2,000th career point against Vanderbilt. She was named to the 2021-22 Senior CLASS Award, Cheryl Miller Award top-10, Naismith Trophy Midseason Team, Wooden Award top-20 and Defensive Player of the Year watchlist.

- The senior guard was named to the 2022 Naismith National Defensive Player of the Year watch list. Cambridge notched her third career double-double against Albany with 10 points and 10 steals which tabbed her as No. 2 in program history for steals in a single game. She is currently 17 steals away from entering the top 10 in program history for career steals and would tie Wendy Schlotens at 211 steals.

- In Division I women’s basketball the Commodores are 86th in assists, 54th in rebounds, 12th in steals, 38th in steals per game, 95th in 3-point field goal percentage and 51st in turnovers forced.
- Cambridge is 230th in assist to turnover ratio, 70th in assists, 100th in assists per game, 99th in minutes played, first in steals and third in steals per game.
- Brinae Alexander ranks 31st in field goal attempts, 52nd in field goals made, 186th in field goal percentage, 57th in final points, 27th in minutes played and 141st in points per game.
- Iyana Moore is ranked 96th in minutes played, 58th in 3-pointers attempted, 29th in 3-pointers made, 77th in 3-pointers per game and 47th in 3-point field goal percentage.
