Pehadzic joins Commodores from University of South Florida

NASHVILLE, Tenn.Enna Pehadzic will join Vanderbilt women’s basketball as a graduate transfer from the University of South Florida as announced by head coach Stephanie White.

A native of Horsens, Denmark, Pehadzic is immediately eligible to play for the Commodores. When healthy, she was a standout starter for the Bulls. Pehadzic played just nine games in her first two seasons due to injury, but as a junior, she was an all-conference selection and led the Bulls in scoring and minutes. She played in 28 games and started nine last season, including 16 points, three rebounds and two steals in a win over No. 15 Texas.

“We are thrilled to add Enna to our program,” White said. “She will make an immediate impact with her maturity and experience as well as her diversified skill set.”

Vanderbilt, which doubled its win total last season returns four of five starters from the end of the 2019-20 campaign as well as leading scorer Brinae Alexander, who played just seven games before a season-ending injury, and SEC All-Freshman honoree Akira Levy, who sat out last season after she transferred from Missouri. The Commodores have also added Florida transfer Brylee Bartram and incoming freshmen Emily Bowman and Bella LaChance.
