“We played hard and we tried hard. I thought we were too leery of their backdoor cuts and that’s probably my fault. [Alabama Huntsville] looked a little nervous out of the gate and we jumped on them. I was pleased with our effort. I was pleased with our ball movement. We took good care of the ball. All in all, it was a good night.”
On Vanderbilt’s Pressure Defense:
“In the event that this tape gets out… people [might] think that you trap a lot. Maybe we play it so that people have to prepare for it, but I thought it was good at the start of the game.”
