NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Katelyn Abigania of the No. 2 Vanderbilt bowling team was named to the Conference USA January Performers of the Month Team and was selected the conference’s bowler and freshman of the month.
At the Northeast Classic, Abigania helped Vanderbilt earn a runner-up finish. On Day 2, she compiled scores of 200, 258, 277, 256 and 194 place second individually with a 237 game average, which is ranked seventh in school history. Abigania was also a part of the Commodores’ 1,222-pin traditional game, which is the third highest-scoring traditional game in Vandy history.
Abigania and the rest of the Vanderbilt bowling team are back in action on Friday through Sunday at the Storm Flyer Classic in Chicago.
