The Steer File
Elsa Steer prepped at Pacific Ridge High School and owns prep-best times of 2:20.82 in the 800 meters, 5:08.95 in the 1,600 meters, 12:09.12 in the 3,200 meters, 18:24 in the three miles (XC) and 18:44.7 in the 5K (XC). As a senior, she was the Coastal Conference cross country champion and placed 14th at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. She placed second in the 800 meters and third in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the Coastal Conference Finals. In 2022, she earned fourth place in the 800 meters and fifth in the 1,600 meters at the CIFSDS Finals.
