In the afternoon, the alumni joined the current Vanderbilt Soccer team for a luncheon to not only learn about the rich history of the program but to form lifelong connections and capitalize on the family-like culture of the program.

“Having the alumni back here on campus really reflected how much love and support we get from those who played here before us,” said sophomore centerback Hannah McLaughlin. “I loved being able to sit and chat with fellow Vanderbilt soccer players from both the women’s and the men’s side— we were able to compare our experiences and see how much the program has continued on with similar values, but also how it has evolved in an incredible way to where it is today. This weekend truly showed me what a family we all are, whether you played here decades ago, or you’re still here today.”

Day 3 | Sunday, October 23

The weekend concluded with a pregame tailgate and an on-field recognition during Vanderbilt’s match against Florida.
