• Is fourth in the 50 breast all-time at Vanderbilt
As a Freshman (2023-24)
• Best time in the 400 IM tied for the second-fastest mark on the team in the event and met the CSCAA National Invitational Championship B Standard
• Was also fourth in both the 100 and 200 breast
• Recorded season-low mark in the 200 breast, competed in the 100 breast (1:05.99) and 400 IM (4:34.11)—turning in her best time of the season in the 100 fly in the opening leg of the race—as well, at the SEC Championships (Feb. 20-24)
• Advanced to the A Final in the 400 IM, the B Final of the 200 breast (2:21.55), and C Final of the 100 breast (1:05.22) and 200 IM while recording season-best marks at the time in three events at the Gamecock Invitational (Nov. 15-17)
• Finished third in the 100 breast and was fourth in the 50 breast—posting season-low mark in each race—in Vandy’s wins over Little Rock and North Texas (Jan. 27)
• Ended up among the top five in the 100 breast (1:06.35) and 200 IM (2:09.75) to help the Dores defeat Iowa (Oct. 28)
• Placed in the top five in both the 100 breast (1:05.89) and 400 IM (4:29.92) at Illinois (Nov. 4)
• Came in fourth place in both the 100 breast (1:07.62) and 200 IM (2:11.65) in victory over Tulane (Feb. 2)
• Tied for fifth in the 100 breast (1:09.56) in tri-meet with Miami (Fla.) and Iowa (Jan. 2)
• Was fifth in the 400 IM (4:29.34) in meet against Georgia and Florida State (Jan. 13)
• Raced in the 100 and 200 breast in her collegiate debut against Florida (Sept. 29)

• A four-year letterwinner at Seattle Preparatory School
• Also swam for the Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club
• Competed at the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association 3A state championships all four years
• Set Seattle Prep records in the 100 breast and 200 IM, was also part of record-setting 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relays
• Placed fourth in the 100 breast and 200 IM at the state meet her senior season
• Was a metro champion for the Panthers
• Served as a team captain as a senior
• Holds club record in the 400 IM, and contributed to records in the 200 and 400 medley relays
• Helped Seattle Metropolitan win the Pacific Northwest Championships in 2021 and ’22
• Also contrinuted to team claiming two sectional titles
• A member of the National Honor Society
• Daughter of Shannon and Jim Gooding
• Is the middle of three children
• Mother, Shannon, was a member of the rowing team at California and competed in the 1992 Olympic Games
• Father, Jim, swam at California as well
• Grandfather, Charles Day, won a gold medal in rowing at the 1936 Olympic Games
