Matchup
• This is the first meeting between the Lions and Commodores on the hardwood.
• Vanderbilt is 12-0 all-time against the Ivy League which includes 3-0 against Princeton, 4-0 against Dartmouth and 5-0 against Harvard. The last matchup against an Ivy opponent was at the 2010 Thanksgiving Day tournament at Memorial—Vanderbilt defeated Princeton, 74-68.

Looking Astern
• Vanderbilt went 2-0 at the Husky Classic. In a 10 p.m. CT start against UC Irvine at Alaska Airlines Arena, Mariella Fasoula notched a double-double while freshman Koi Love poured in a then-career-high 18 points to lead Vanderbilt to a 76-63 win. Less than 24 hours later, Vanderbilt rallied from 14 down and an 11-point halftime deficit to force overtime against host Washington. Love finished with a career-high 19 points and Fasoula hit the game-winner with 0.4 seconds left in overtime to propel the Commodores to a 76-74 win.

Full Steam Ahead
• Vanderbilt is 9-0 when holding opponents under 40 percent from the field (0-3 when not).
• The Commodores are 6-0 when they have fewer turnovers than their opponent.
• Vanderbilt has out-rebounded every opponent this year.
• Vanderbilt ranks No. 8 in the nation in rebounding (538) and No. 13 in the country with 44.83 rebounds per game.
• Vandy is 8-1 when shooting better than 40 percent and 9-1 when scoring more than 60 points.
• Vanderbilt is 3-0 on the weekends this year and 6-3 on school nights.
• Vanderbilt’s nine non-conference wins are the most since winning 10 in 2016-17.
• Last season, Vanderbilt scored 80 points three times. In just the first six games this season, the Commodores eclipsed 80 points three times and 100 points once. The 106-point outing at Tennessee State was the program’s first over the century mark since 2011 at Florida.

Plan of Attack
Coach White’s halftime adjustments have been evident. Vanderbilt has won the third quarter in 10 of its 12 games. Excluding No. 4 UConn, the Commodores have nearly doubled up the opposition in the third quarter, 239-132. That averages to an advantage of 22-12 every third quarter.

Court Marital
• Sophomore Jordyn Cambridge entered the week ranked No. 11 in the nation and second in the SEC in steals. She has 37 steals in 12 games this season after she totaled 20 steals in 24 games as a freshman last year.
• As a team, Vanderbilt is second in the conference with 10.1 steals per game (South Carolina, 10.7).
• Cambridge was the first Commodore with seven steals in a game (Nov. 17 vs. Saint Louis) since Jennifer Risper on Nov. 23, 2008 against Michigan.
• Cambridge leads all Power Six players listed at 5’9” or shorter with eight blocks this season (she had two blocks last season). In addition, she leads the SEC in rebounding among players under 5’10” and has 5+ rebounds in eight of 12 games this season.

SEC Sweep
On Dec. 23, Vanderbilt swept the SEC weekly awards. It was the first Commodores sweep since Christina Foggie (player) and Kady Schrann (freshman) on Jan. 23, 2012.
• Vandy  is the only program to sweep the awards this year.
Mariella Fasoula was Vanderbilt’s first SEC Player of the Week since Jasmine Lister in 2014.
• Koi Love became the first Vanderbilt player to win back-to-back SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
• Fasoula is 12th in the nation and second in the SEC with six double-doubles. Love has four this year.

Alexander the Sophomore
• Sophomore Brinae Alexander scored in double figures in her first six games this season and was Vanderbilt’s leading scorer before her injury in the first quarter on Thanksgiving Day against Rutgers at the Junkanoo Jam in the Bahamas.
• In the season opener, Alexander (20 points, four steals) was the first Commodore in more than eight years to finish with 20+ points and 4+ steals in a game. The last Vanderbilt player to pull off the feat was Jence Rhoads when she went for 21 and 5 against Arkansas on March 4, 2010.
• Since the injury, Vanderbilt has used three different starting lineups in the last five games. Eight different players have started at least one game for the Commodores.

A Vandy Win Would…
… match the most nonconference wins in the Coach White era (10 in 2016-17).
… mark the seventh home win of the year, most since winning 10 in 2016-17.
… match the best 13-game start since 2016-17 (10-3 in White’s first season).
… mark the first five-game winning streak since 2016-17.
… be the program’s first undefeated December under White and first since 2015-16 (went 6-0).

A Vandy Loss Would…
… be the first-ever to an Ivy opponent.
… snap a four-game winning streak.
… be less good than a win.
