2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament important dates
- Postseason NCC Priority Deadline: March 11 at 11:59 p.m. CT (more ticketing information on the ticketing tab)
- Selection Sunday: 5 p.m. CT Sunday, March 15 on CBS
- First Four: March 17-18
- First round: March 19-20
- Second round: March 21-22
- Sweet 16: March 26-27
- Elite Eight: March 28-29
- Final Four: April 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis
- NCAA championship game: April 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis
General Public Ticket Information- Second Round tickets are available through the NCAA Marketplace
The Vanderbilt Ticket Office will not have any tickets available to the general public. General public tickets can be purchased through the NCAA.
National Commodore Club Member Ticket Information
Tickets through the Vanderbilt Ticket Office are EXTREMELY LIMITED and will only be made available through a request period for all National Commodore Club (NCC) members and men’s basketball season ticket holders.
Tickets will be awarded and allocated based on NCC priority. Please note, the deadline to increase priority ranking for basketball postseason is Wednesday, March 11.
NCC members can request tickets to the first and second round of the men’s basketball NCAA Tournament after Selection Sunday and must place a request by noon on Monday, March 16. Once the ticket request opens, NCC members and season ticket holders looking to request tickets should click here to log into their ticket account. Once logged in, select “Men’s Basketball” then “2026 Men’s Basketball Postseason” and continue the buying process.

| March 15 post Selection Show | NCC members can request up to four (4) tickets to the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament. NCC members will receive a message via the email address associated with their ticket account. |
| March 16 at noon | NCC TICKET REQUEST DEADLINE for the first and second rounds. |
| March 16 in the evening | NCC members who requested tickets to the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament will be notified if they receive tickets. |
| March 19 | First round of the Men's NCAA Tournament vs. McNeese State at 2:15 p.m. |
| After 2nd Round win (March 21) | NCC members can submit ticket request for Regional Rounds. |
| March 23 at noon | NCC TICKET REQUEST DEADLINE for the Regional Rounds. |
| March 23 in the evening | NCC members who requested tickets to the regional rounds of the NCAA Tournament will be notified if they receive tickets. |
| After Elite Eight win TBA (March 28 or March 29) | NCC members can submit ticket request for Final Four and Championship Game. |
| March 30 at noon | NCC TICKET REQUEST DEADLINE for the Final Four and Championship Game. |
| March 30 in the evening | NCC members who requested tickets to the Final Four and Championship Game of the NCAA Tournament will be notified if they receive tickets. |
| Saturday, April 4 | Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis |
| Monday, April 6 | NCAA championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis |
Please note:
- All ticket sales are final. If you receive tickets through the NCC, your card on file will be charged. No refunds or exchanges will be given.
- NCC members who request tickets through the Vanderbilt ticket office will only receive tickets to each round that Vanderbilt advances to. Should Vanderbilt not advance to a game that you have already received ticket confirmation for your card/account will not be charged.
Student Ticket Information
Schools do not receive student tickets for the first and second rounds. Students looking to attend can purchase general public tickets through the NCAA
Student tickets may be available for later rounds in the NCAA Tournament. Students interested in postseason ticket information should complete the basketball postseason interest form here.

Travel Packages
Travel Packages are not available for the first and second round of the men’s tournament.
