Vanderbilt Hosts Little Rock in Final Home Meet

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt swimming will recognize four seniors on Saturday as it competes against Little Rock in its final home meet of the season.

The Commodores currently hold a 5-4 record on the season, including 0-3 in SEC meets.

Coming off a loss to No. 9-ranked Texas A&M and Houston, the Dores look to reverse their fortunes against a 1-3 Little Rock team.

Marking their final home meet of the season, the Commodores will honor seniors Mary Beckwith, Eunsol Chon, Johanna Goldblatt and Madison Eaker at Saturday’s meet.

“Vanderbilt Swimming is the best thing that has ever happened to me. The people I’ve met and the places I’ve gone have made me grow into a person l didn’t even think l could be. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity and to have gained this family that l will have for the rest of my life,” said senior Goldblatt.

Reflecting on her final home swim as a Commodore, senior Chon said, “This  meet is such an emotional yet exciting moment that I’m very much looking forward to. I’m confident that this is a meet I will remember forever, and I’m excited to swim my hardest, knowing I only have a few moments left in the pool.”
