Vanderbilt Welcomes Butler

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt looks to bounce back this weekend as it hosts former BIG EAST opponent Butler on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
 
The Commodores (7-2) recently suffered their second loss of the season against No. 12 Notre Dame.
 
The Commodores, however, are 1-0 this season when coming off a loss. They defeated New Hampshire after losing in double overtime to San Diego State earlier in the season.
 
Vanderbilt continues to harness a high-powered offense and defense and is ranked third nationally in caused turnovers/game (13.67), fifth in assists/game (8.56) and ninth in points/game (23.44).
 
Sophomore attacker Gabby Fornia finds herself nationally ranked in the top 10 in total assists with 22 this season.
