Commodores to Nest Owls on Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt continues the 2019 season this Saturday at 1 p.m. when it hosts Kennesaw State at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
 
The Commodores are fresh off a 16-7 victory over Wagner in their season debut. They were led by Sophie Furlong who poured in a career-high five goals in the win. She earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll for her performance. 
 
Multiple Commodores scored their first collegiate goal in the game with Brianne Gross, Cassidy Orban and Maddie Souza scoring.
 
This is the seventh meeting between the two schools with Vanderbilt holding a 6-0 all-time lead in the series. The most recent meeting between the teams came last year where the Commodores won on the road, 18-14, in the season opener.
 
Kennesaw State comes into Nashville having lost its season opener on the road against Arizona State.
