NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt looks to continue its hot start to 2019 on the road Wednesday against Louisville at noon CT.
It’s the second matchup of a five-game road trip for Vanderbilt.
The Commodores (3-0) are coming off an 18-5 road win vs. Furman on Sunday that saw 10 different players score.
The Dores have been dominant on both sides of the field so far this season and find themselves first in the nation in caused turnovers per game (17.33), second in points per game (29.00) and second in assists per game (11.00).
Vanderbilt remains top-five in the country in several other categories. The Commodores currently sit at fourth in scoring margin (+10.33), fourth in shots on goal per game (29.67) and fifth in goals per game (18.00).
This is the second season in a row that the Commodores have averaged at least 18 goals per game.
After posting a career-high four assists last week, Gabby Fornia also finds herself in the top 10 in assists per game (3.00).
Julie Blaze surpassed the 100-point mark a couple of weeks ago, and she is off to a strong start this season. She has posted two goals in every game thus far.
