Vanderbilt Set to Play Host to LSU

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team is set to play host to LSU on Sunday night at Memorial Gymnasium. Tip is set for 5 p.m. CT. Fans can watch on SEC Network, follow live stats or listen to Charlie Mattos on WNSR 560 AM or 95.9 FM.

  1. Vanderbilt (6-18, 1-10 SEC) comes into the contest after a 65-60 setback at Ole Miss on Thursday.
  2. Brinae Alexander pulled down a career-high eight boards in the loss.
  3. The Commodores have won the last seven meetings against LSU in Nashville. The Tigers have not won in Memorial since the 2004-05 season.
  4. LSU has won three of the last five games in the series.
  5. Mariella Fasoula and Cierra walker are each averaging double-digits on the season.
