Women’s soccer getting notice in the rankings 11/2/2004 The Commodores women’s soccer team came up ranked today in the Soccer Buzz rankings as well as earning points in the official rankings. The Dores were ranked #11 in the Central Region by soccerbuzz.com in rankings released November 2, 2004. The central region includes #1 Kansas, Tennessee (3) and Mississippi State (14) who the Commodores will face on Thursday night at the SEC Tournament. The official rankings put out by Adidas on nscaa.com brought the Dores votes from this ranking board. This is the first time this season that the Commodores have gotten notice from the NSCAA. Next up for Vanderbilt is Mississippi State at the SEC Tournament on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. |
