Women’s soccer clinches berth in SEC Tournament

For the 11th year in the row, the Commodores will be traveling to the SEC Tournament. The tournament this year will be held in Auburn, Alabama from November 3-7, 2004.
The announcement came from the SEC today that the Dores have clinched their playoff berth in the regular season. The Commodores have one regular season game remaining against Kentucky. They face off in Lexington on Friday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m.
The farthest the Commodores have ever made it in the SEC Tournament was when the brought home the championship in 1993 and 1994. The Dores have advanced the SEC Championship in 1997 and 1998 but fell both times to Florida. In 2003, the Dores lost in the first round to Florida, 3-1. The Dores look to improve on their all-time SEC tournament record of 10-7-1.
