Weather Washes Invitational

The Vanderbilt track and field team was able to get the 5,000-meter run in before severe weather moved the remainder of Friday's competition to tomorrow at the Duke Invitational.

DURHAM, N.C. – The Vanderbilt track and field team was able to get the 5,000-meter run in before severe weather moved the remainder of Friday’s competition to tomorrow at the Duke Invitational.

Sara Tsai led the Commodore women that ran the event, placing 10th with a time of 18:14.30. Devon Grisbaum clocked an 18:26.75 and Ana Wallace finished at 18:35.97.

Evan Suzman led the section of Vanderbilt men that competed, running less than a second away from his personal record, 15:15.93. Caleb Casolaro (15:25.90) and Caleb van Geffen (15:44.87) also completed the event.

Eleven Commodores will compete at Duke tomorrow while seven will compete at Auburn.
