Vanderbilt Soccer Takes On Clemson In NCAA First Round
Vanderbilt will make its second straight NCAA appearance and seventh trip overall against Clemson on Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT at Riggs Field. The Commodores and Tigers will play the second game of the four-team field while Oklahoma State will take on UNC-Greensboro in the first game Friday at 4 p.m. The two winners will advance to the championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.

Series History
vs. Clemson: Clemson leads the series 3-0. The teams last met in the 1998 NCAA tournament, with the Tigers coming away with a 2-0 win.

Scouting Clemson
Clemson is 11-7-2 on the season after falling to North Carolina in the ACC semifinals last week in Cary, N.C. The Tigers are making their 13th straight NCAA tournament since starting the program in 1994. Sophomore Meghan Smith leads the team in scoring with five goals and five assists for 15 points. Junior goalkeeper Ashley Phillips boasts a 1.05 goals against average with seven shutouts on the year.
