No. 7 Vanderbilt produced a 3-1 week, capturing its seventh-consecutive midweek victory before taking the first two against No. 12 Arkansas … The Commodores batted .319 and scored 42 runs while slugging 10 home runs … Vanderbilt scored 10-plus runs in three of its four games … Vandy clubbed a season-high four home runs including two from JJ Bleday and scored seven times in the third inning as part of a 15-3 win at Middle Tennessee … Commodore starter Drake Fellows continued his Friday dominance and No. 7 Vanderbilt generated just enough offensively in a series-opening 3-2 win against No. 12 Arkansas … Fellows scattered seven hits and allowed just one run while lowering his ERA to 2.97 … Vandy erupted for seven runs in the first inning highlighted by a grand slam from Stephen Scott, running away with a series-clinching 12-2 win against Arkansas … The win was the 20th at home for the Commodores who scored in the first inning for the 16th time this season, improving to 14-2 in those games … Down to its final two outs, Arkansas pushed five runs across in the ninth inning, erasing a two-run deficit while knocking off Vanderbilt, 14-12 in the four-plus hour series finale … Philip Clarke recorded a career-high six RBIs and Julian Infante contributed two homers to up his career total to 25 … The Commodores return to action, closing their four-game homestand Tuesday against Indiana State at 6:30 p.m. … Vandy hits the road for a three-game set beginning Friday at Alabama.
