Commodores close regular season with Georgia Tech

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt closes the regular season at 10 a.m. CT Saturday with a dual meet at Georgia Tech.

The meet will be the first for the Commodores since Nov. 18-20 at Miami (Florida). The trip to Miami closed the fall schedule which also had Vanderbilt compete against SEC foes Kentucky and Tennessee.

At Miami, Tonner DeBeer won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.10 and the 100-yard backstroke in 54.79. DeBeer also helped the 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay teams to second-place finishes against the Hurricanes.

Vanderbilt caps the 2020-21 season at the SEC Championships in Athens, Georgia, on Feb. 17-20.
