Mary Glenn Lipman

Mary Glenn Lipman joined the Vanderbilt sports nutrition staff in 2019. She serves as assistant director of sports nutrition.
Before her tenure at Vanderbilt, Lipman worked as the performance dietitian at Novant Health Sports and Performance Medicine powered by EXOS in Charlotte, North Carolina. She counseled a range of athletes including retired and current NFL players, professional soccer players, adolescent swimmers, and NASCAR drivers and pit crew.
Prior to EXOS, Lipman spent a year at Auburn (2016-2017) as a sports dietitian intern. She worked with softball and swimming and diving in particular, but assisted with other sports.
Lipman has a master’s of science degree in exercise physiology with a concentration in sports nutrition from Florida State. She received her bachelor of science in nutrition and dietetics from Auburn.
Lipman is originally from Augusta, Georgia. She became a registered dietitian in 2016 through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has her license by the state of Tennessee to practice.
