Damany Hendrix

Director • Player Development and Quality Control

Damany Hendrix joined the Vanderbilt men’s basketball staff as the director of player development and quality control in 2019, and the 2019-20 season is his first with the Commodores.

Hendrix’s roles with the Commodores includes overseeing student-athlete development programs, community service initiatives, special events, and assisting with branding and marketing, player behavior, academics and camps.

Hendrix joined the Commodores after serving as an assistant coach for the NBA G League’s Northern Arizona Suns and the Raptors 905. Prior to his time in the NBA G League, he served as a specialist for player programs and development for Adonal Foyle Enterprises (2017) and a consultant for personal player development in the Bay Area from 2016-17. He also served as the head coach of the boys basketball team at Justin-Siena High School for two seasons (2015-17) in Napa, California.

Hendrix is a 2003 graduate of Lamar.
