Odom has returned to the Vanderbilt staff. He will serve as an offensive quality control for Derek Mason’s Commodore program.
Odom served during the 2016-17 seasons as a Vanderbilt offensive graduate assistant. He spent the 2018 season as a scout for the Green Bay Packers organization.
A native of Lakeland, Florida, Odom played quarterback at Shaw (N.C.) University, helping the Bears to a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association title during a four-year career from 2010-13. A team captain, Odom also earned academic honors off the field, and served as president of Shaw’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as a senior.
Odom earned a bachelor’s in communications and journalism from Shaw in 2014. He has completed two postgraduate degrees: liberal arts and science from Vanderbilt University in 2017, and sports management from Florida State in 2015.
Odom joined Vanderbilt after serving as an intern with the Eastern Kentucky football team during the 2015 season.
