Molly Kinsella led VU with seven shots, three on goal, while Carrie Patterson and Lauren Clancy each had two shots on goal for the Bulldogs.

“The bottom line is if we don’t start finishing our scoring chances, the next seven games are going to be very long for us,” said Woodard.

The Commodores will continue their four-game homestand next weekend as Arkansas and LSU come to town. VU will face the Razorbacks on Friday at 7 p.m., before taking on the Tigers on Sunday at 1 p.m.

“At practice we will emphasize finishing and we need to get to the point where we aren’t saying that was a good try, instead we want to say that was a great goal,” summed up Woodard.
