NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Commodores ended Day 2 at the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a pair of scoring performances, a finals qualification and three program all-time top 10 marks.
Vanderbilt’s first points of the weekend came from Marta Sivina and Devyn Parham in the heptathlon. Sivina finished in fourth place with a personal best 5,452 points. Parham totaled a personal best 5,287 points to place seventh. To start the day, Sivina notched a personal best 5.73-meter mark in the long jump, and Parham jumped an outdoor season best 5.71 meters in the same event. Both Dores closed out the multi with PRs in the 800 meters. Sivina came in second in the event with a time of 2:15.82, and Parham clocked 2:19.72.
In the 100-meter hurdles, Taylor McKinnon registered a personal-best time of 13.50 seconds to move to fourth on the program’s all-time performers list. Falon Spearman notched a 13.35-second time in the same event.
Julia Rosenberg punched her ticket to the 1,500 meters final finishing second in her heat with a time of 4:19.80. Lily Kriegel missed out on the final by 0.25 seconds, clocking 4:22.30 to finish 13th overall.
In the shot put, Sarah Marvin registered a season best 15.16-meter throw to place 15th.
Ellie Wolski closed out the night for the Commodores with a personal-best time of 10:32.72 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, which ranks No. 3 in program history and earned 11th place.
