Woods played in every game as a fifth-year senior, participating as a tackle and end on the defensive front… Earned a starting assignment at Ole Miss… Concluded the year with eight solo stops, 15 total tackles and a quarterback sack… Put together his best performance against Georgia, contributing four tackles and a sack… Also had multiple tackles against Middle Tennessee, Kansas State, Alabama and South Carolina… Ended career with 12 starts in 47 appearances, accumulating 76 total tackles, five tackles for loss, 2.5 quarterback sacks and a pair of forced fumbles. 

2016
Despite suffering a leg injury in spring drills, Woods returned to contribute an important role on the Commodore defensive front… Woods participated in all 13 games, part of a defensive tackle rotation that included Nifae Lealao and Adam Butler… Woods finished the regular season with six total tackles and shared in a quarterback sack… In his best effort of the season, Woods had two two tackles in Vanderbilt’s impressive late-season win over Ole Miss.

2015
Woods was a key performer in the interior defensive front of team’s 3-4 scheme… Played in all 12 games, earning five starts at nose tackle… Rotated at interior tackle post with Lealao through the season… Ended year with 24 total tackles, 12 solo stops, a quarterback sack, two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery… Had a stellar early-season game against Georgia, producing six tackles, a sack and forced fumble… Set personal high with five solo tackles against South Carolina… Registered a forced fumble at Florida… Contributed key fumble recovery that led to touchdown in win over Kentucky.

2014
Woods became a key contributor in the interior defensive front as a first-year player in team’s 3-4 scheme… Participated in all 12 games, earning five starting assignments at defensive end… Starts came in opener against Temple, and later in season vs. South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia and Charleston Southern… Ended the season with 12 solo tackles, 31 total stops and 1.5 tackles for loss… Season high of five tackles came at Georgia… Posted four tackles vs. SEC opponents Ole Miss, South Carolina and Florida… Registered multiple tackles in nine of 12 games.

2013
Did not play as a true freshman… Impressed coaching staff with abilities as a practice squad defensive tackle.

Multi-year captain for school located between Atlanta and Macon… Earned four varsity letters… As senior DT, named First Time AAA All-State and All-Region after contributing 117 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, six sacks and three forced fumbles… Red Devils advanced to AAA state playoffs during senior campaign… Participated in postseason Offense-Defense All-American Game… Named All-Region after posting 99 tackles and seven sacks as junior… Also earned letters as thrower in track and field.
