  • Named a GCAA All-America Scholar and a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Led the charge for Vanderbilt at the NCAA Kissimmee Regional, where he posted a season-best third-place finish with a 206 total (69-70-67)
  • Also posted a top-five finish at the Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach, when he finished in a tie for fourth with a 12-under par, 204 (69-67-68)
  • Posted one other top 10, a 10th-place finish at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate
  • Had 10 rounds in the 60’s, with his season-low of 67 coming in the second round of the Carmel Cup, the second round of the SunTrust Gator Invitational, and the third round of the Kissimmee Regional
  • Had a 2-0-1 record in match play, with a 2 & 1 win over Ryan Gronlund of Oregon, a 4 & 3 win over Davis Shore of Alabama in the SEC Quarterfinals, and a halved match with Nick Hardy of Illinois at the East Lake Cup

  • Finished third at the Players Amateur with a 12-under par, 272

As a Sophomore (2016-17):

  • Led team with 70.34 stroke average, the second-lowest in program history
  • Named to First-Team GCAA All-American
  • Nicklaus Award Finalist
  • Named to All-SEC First Team
  • Played in all 11 events
  • Tied for third at the NCAA College Grove Regional, his third top five finish
  • Finished runner-up at the SEC Championship after posting a 10-under par, 200, a Vanderbilt record at the event
  • Won the Schenkel Invitational for his first collegiate individual title

  • Finished in a tie for 2nd (with teammate Matthias Schwab) at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational
  • Posted 16 rounds in the 60’s, with a season low of 66 coming in the final round of stroke play at the SEC Championship and the first round of the NCAA College Grove Regional
  • Selected for the second annual Tom Cousins Award at this year’s East Lake Cup by a selected panel of industry leaders for their accolades both on and off of the golf course

As a Freshman (2015-16):

  • Played in 34 stroke-play rounds and averaged 71.18 strokes per round
  • Named a GCAA Freshman All-American
  • Named to the All-SEC 2nd Team and the All-Freshman Team
  • Carded five top 10 finishes – the Carmel Cup (T-4th), the SunTrust Gator Invitational (T-3rd), the Schenkel Invitational (T-7th), the Mason Rudolph Championship (T-10th), and the NCAA Franklin Regional (T-9th)
  • Posted 10 rounds in the 60’s this season, including all three rounds at the SunTrust Gator Invitational
  • Posted a season-low 66 in the final round of the SunTrust Gator
  • Was 3-0 in match play in regular season, defeating Danny Walker of Virginia (4 & 3) at the DICK’s Collegiate Challenge Cup, and Travis Joiner of Georgia Tech (5 & 4) and Michael Johnson of Auburn, the eighth-ranked player in the nation, (6 & 5) at the FarmLinks Collegiate Match Play.

Prior to Vanderbilt:

  • Was ranked as the 19th player in the class of 2015 at the time of his signing
  • Won the Alabama State Match Play Championship in the summer of 2015
  • Was the 7A Individual State Champion for the state of Alabama in 2015
  • Was a 2013 Rolex All American Honorable Mention selection and captured two AJGA events, the 2013 NRP Bluegrass AJGA Junior Classic Championship and the 2014 Huntsville AJGA Junior Championship
  • Represented the USA in the 2013 USA – China youth golf match and went 3-0 in his matches
  • Was a finalist for the AJGA/ USGA Presidential Leadership award in 2013 and 2014
  • Finished seventh at the Rolex Tournament of Champions, and helped lead his team to three state championships at Spain Park High School
