Commodores resume season with trip to Nevada for Stormin' Blue & White Vegas Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Third-ranked Vanderbilt resumes its season Sunday for the start of the three-day Stormin’ Blue and White Vegas Classic at the South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas.

The tournament spans an unusual portion of the week due to the USBC Team USA Trials that concludes Saturday and attract many top collegians.

Competing Teams

Daemen, Louisiana Tech, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Maryville, McKendree, Mount St. Mary’s, Nebraska, Newman, Prairie View, Spalding, Stephen F. Austin, Texas Southern, Tulane and Vanderbilt.

Starting Times

Sunday

12:55 p.m. CT: Five quint Baker matches

Monday

11:55 a.m. CT: Five traditional team matches

Tuesday

10 a.m. CT: 4 of 7 Baker matches

Vandy’s History at Vegas Classic

The Commodores won the inaugural tournament in 2020 and were fourth here in 2022. There was no event in 2021.
