NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt women’s golf is headed to the Lexington Regional hosted at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Lexington, Kentucky, on May 5-7. The Commodores are the No. 4 seed in the regional.
Vandy is making its seventh-straight appearance in the NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals and the 25th trip in program history. The Dores have advanced to the NCAA Championships in each of the past three seasons, including a 20th-place finish last season marking the program’s best finish in the past decade.
The Lexington Regional features 12 teams: Florida State, USC, TCU, Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Georgia Southern, Pepperdine, Louisville, Miami, Western Kentucky, Morehead State and Fairleigh Dickinson. The top five teams at the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, California, on May 16-21.
Vanderbilt has six top-five finishes as a team this season, including opening the fall with a win at the prestigious Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach. 2024-25 marks the second consecutive season the Commodores have earned a No. 4 seed in regionals.
This will be the first time Vanderbilt plays Keene Trace Golf Club in the NCAA postseason.
