MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt soccer team concluded the exhibition portion of its schedule with a 1-0 road defeat at the hands of Memphis on Friday night.
The home side scored with 13 minutes showing on the first-half clock for the game’s lone goal.
The Commodores were coming off a 2-0 victory over Chattanooga in the Aug. 8 exhibition opener.
Vandy will host Tennessee Tech at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex for the regular season opener set for 7 p.m. Aug. 19. The game will air on SEC Network+.
