Dores are set to begin the 2021-22 season at Auburn Invitational

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s tennis will begin the season at the Auburn Fall Invitational Friday through Sunday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center in Auburn, Alabama.

Vanderbilt will take on the host Tigers at 2 p.m. Friday, and then face off with Clemson at 10 a.m. Saturday followed by a 9 a.m. matchup with Miami (Fla.) on Sunday. There will be a number of singles and doubles matches between the pairs of schools each day. Streaming should be available at AuburnTigers.com.

Fifth-year senior George Harwell will start the season ranked No. 42 in singles while sophomore Jeremie Casabon is ranked No. 83 and senior Marcus Ferreira begins the 2021-22 campaign at No. 123. Harwell and fifth year classmate Max Freeman are No. 19 in the preseason doubles polls while the new Commodore duo of junior transfer Siim Troost and freshman Michael Ross open the year as the 51st-ranked doubles team.

The ITA Regionals will follow, Sept. 23-27, in Knoxville, Tenn. Harwell, Freeman and Ferriera were also selected to compete at the ITA All-American Championships hosted by the University of Tulsa, Oct. 2-10. A full Fall schedule is here.
